Why I Started Soulbyrd

Soulbyrd started from a love of creativity, self expression, and all the little things that make personal style feel fun.

I’ve always been drawn to fashion, color, art, and pieces that feel effortless but still say something. To me, what we wear should feel personal. It should reflect our mood, our energy, and the way we move through everyday life.

Trucker hats had quietly become part of my daily routine long before Soulbyrd existed. They were my go to on walks, beach days, road trips, bad hair days, and all the simple in between moments that make up California living. I loved how effortless they felt while still adding personality and style.

What inspired me most was the idea of creating elevated trucker hats that felt playful, laid back, expressive, and easy to wear. I wanted Soulbyrd to bring a more fashion forward feel to an everyday staple while still keeping that relaxed California energy.

Each Soulbyrd trucker hat design is created to feel uplifting, wearable, and full of personality. Whether it’s through color, wording, or just the feeling behind it, I want every piece to bring a little spark of joy to someone’s day.

Building Soulbyrd has also become deeply personal for me. Life has a way of changing us, pushing us to grow, and sometimes helping us rediscover parts of ourselves we forgot were there. Creating this brand became a reminder for me that it’s never too late to build something meaningful, creative, and connected to who you are.

At the end of the day, I just want Soulbyrd to feel good. Fun, effortless, uplifting, and expressive. Something that makes people feel a little more like themselves.
